James Louis Moran, Jr., Ph.D. was educated at Florida A&M University, receiving a B.S. in 1981, Commissioned as an Army Officer/distinguished military graduate; served 14 years of combined Active and Reserve duty as a decorated Combat Engineer Officer. He received a Master of Education in 1989 and a Doctorate (Ph.D.) in 2000. Dr. Moran is Director, Professional Development Services, Florida A&M University (FAMU) College of Pharmacy and Pharmacy and Pharmaceutical Sciences.
As a Community Activist, he was elected on June 3, 2012 as a Congressional District 2 Democratic Delegate for the State of Florida. He was among 300 delegates who nominated Barack Obama for U.S. President. He serves as a Commissioner for the Tallahassee Housing Authority; member of the Second Judicial Circuit Grievance Committee 2B (Florida Bar); former two-term Leon County Chapter President, FAMU National Alumni Association (NAA); former two term National Treasurer, FAMU NAA; former Alumni Unit Commander of C-16, National Society of Pershing Rifles; Assistant Pastor, Powerhouse Family Worship Center; Former President, FAMU National ROTC Alumni Association; Former Chaplain, FAMU NAA; Life Member, FAMU NAA; Former Chair, 2010 Census Complete Count Committee; Leadership Tallahassee, Class 21; member, Society of Government Meeting Professionals; Omega Psi Phi, Fraternity, Inc.; Alpha Phi Omega, Fraternity, Inc., Kappa Delta Chapter; Board Member, NAACP Tallahassee Branch; and former candidate for City Commission, Seat 5, 2004 and 2010. Dr. Moran is a member of J.R.E. Lee Masonic Lodge #422, Ahmed Temple #37 and Monticello, FL Consistory 32nd Degree Mason and numerous other Academic, Social and Professional organizations.

Lenard (Len) Franklin is a retired (1-5-2007) Senior Accountant for the City of Tallahassee with approximately 30 years of accounting, management and financial system experience. He is technically proficient and knowledgeable of state and federal filing and reporting requirements. Len earned his Bachelor of Science in Accounting (FAMU Class of 1976).
Mr. Franklin is a life member of the FAMU National Alumni Association and is a current member of the Leon County Chapter. He is also a member of the FAMU Rattlers Boosters Club, Inc. And, Len donates annually to FAMU.
Len served two terms as Treasurer of the FAMU National Alumni Association from 2007 through 2012. In this capacity, he assisted/coordinated one operational audit and six annual financial audits (all with unqualified opinions). He is a Certified Public Manager (CPM) retired, and is the past treasurer (2004-2005) for the Florida Society of Certified Public Managers. He is a former treasurer of several organizations: The Tallahassee Chapter of the National Association of Black Accountants, Inc (NABA), The Smith-Williams Center Foundation, Inc., Club 54' Incorporated, and the North Florida Chapter of CPM.
Len is a past recipient of the highest honor awarded by the Government Finance Officers Association of the United States and Canada - the Certificate of Achievement for Excellence in Financial Reporting (August 1987).
