Leon County Chapter of the FAMU National Alumni Association

About

The Leon County Chapter of the Florida A&M University (FAMU) National Alumni Association was established in 1930. The Chapter consists of dynamic graduates who reside in and around the capital city of Tallahassee, Florida. Currently, there are 480 active members of the Chapter.

We are college professors, public and private school teachers, attorneys, health care practitioners, politicians, business owners, retirees and more. We are multi-generational Rattlers from all walks of life who have come together for a common purpose-to demonstrate passion for and commitment to our alma mater, Florida A&M University.

Home to academia and state government, the city of Tallahassee provides our chapter with a multitude of opportunities to make a positive difference for FAMU. Our chapter is in the thick of it. Thus, we are positioning ourselves to promote a favorable image of the university and provide generous financial and moral support.
